The first time I saw a Potoo, a nocturnal bird from Central and South America, I laughed. Yes, I bullied a photo of a bird. It looks like an owl brought its awkward cousin to a party and gave him one directive: Don't embarass me in front of the chicks. Uppon arriving at the party, the Potoo flapped up to a group of owlettes and loudly squawked, "Are you the chicks? My cousin said you are hot!' Don't worry, buddy. You'll grow out of it.
The original art was hand drawn with charcoal pencils and charcoal paint. Prints are 4x6. Printed on matte finish craft card stock.
